Board of Regents
Point Foundation Regents play a major and vital role within the foundation. The role of members of the National Board of Regents is to relay communications to Regional Boards of Trustees, co-chairmanship of Regional Boards of Trustees, coordination of national Point activities, fundraising, participation on board committees, sub-committees and/or ad hoc committees, selections participation and leadership conference participation. A key to our success is the enormous efforts of these dedicated volunteers. As President of the Board of Regents, I wish to thank them for their hard and dedicated work. Regents focus on funding our scholars and the training they receive, in the selection of new scholars, and for leading mentoring, alumni, and leadership conference programs that richly enhance our scholars’ lives and prepare them for future success.
Point Foundation is determined and will continue to grow. We aim to expand into the far reaches of our country; coast to coast and border to border. Our mission is a prescient one and we see it as our responsibility to reach as many people as we can. Increasing our donor base and locating gifted scholars whose dedication to the future of the LGBT community is as important to them as it is to us. We have already succeeded and will continue to strive to make a difference in the lives of future generations.
We honor our scholars; their leadership, their acumen, their early involvement in LGBT causes, and their pledge to make the world a fairer and better place for all. And we could not have done this without our benefactors; we salute their generosity and thank them for sharing our vision. The Point Foundation family proudly prepares for our future. We have all of the essential ingredients in place and hope that you will continue your support, or join us anew, as we nourish keen and caring minds and propel them into leadership positions in countless fields of scholarship, service and entrepreneurial endeavors.
