Joseph Hernandez

Program Administrative Assistant

Joey Hernandez is a recent graduate of University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and a minor in LGBT Studies. He spent most of his time dedicated to LGBT student organizations, including Delta Lambda Phi National Social Fraternity for gay, bisexual and progressive men where he currently serves on the national level as the Western Regional Director. While studying, Joey also concentrated on rallies, conferences and community service projects that worked towards advancing the LGBT community. For the past four years, he has worked for the UCLA LGBT Campus Resource Center and also spent the last two years as the Southern California Program Associate for the Gay Straight Alliance Network. He continues to give back to the community through other LGBT non-profit organizations like Delta Lambda Phi and volunteers at queer youth programs.
