Point Honors – Los Angeles 2008
A Benefit Honoring Current and Future Champions of the LGBT Community
Point Foundation surpassed its fundraising goals and raised more than $300,000 at its third annual Los Angeles fundraising gala, Point Honors on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Jim Henson Studios. More than 300 supporters attended the benefit including an impressive list of celebrities. Tony® Award-winning and Emmy® nominated actress Kristin Chenoweth received the Point Courage Award and Shelley Freeman, regional president for Wells Fargo, accepted the Point Inspiration Award on behalf of Wells Fargo.
The fundraiser’s sponsors included, Presenting Sponsor Motorola, Inc.; Premier Sponsor PricewaterhouseCoopers; Principal Sponsors Showtime, Stiletto Entertainment and Washington Mutual; Media Sponsors Frontiers, Genre and IN Los Angeles magazine; and Point Friends 10 Cane Run, Audi, Bud Light, Coca Cola, Evian, Full Throttle, Manilow wine and Sweet Pea’s Custom Florals.
The benefit chairman for the evening was Jeffrey Epstein.
