LOS ANGELES, JUNE 10, 2008 Point Foundation (Point), the nation’s largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students of merit, today announced its 2008 Scholar Class. Like last year’s class, this year’s diverse group of 27 undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate recipients includes some ‘firsts’ for the organization.
